Hello...it's me!!

Yes I am still here and occasionally creating! Can you believe it has been over 3 YEARS since I posted on this blog! Oh dear me, what have I been doing?!

Essentially not alot actually - mainly mothering and parenting and regular scrapbooking with my Cheaper Than Therapy buddies/besties xox

I am hoping to revive some challenges in the near future and have many more crafting adventures to share with you.  In the meantime, I have a card and a box to share that I made with a group of wonderful ladies here at home on Saturday night.

I was inspired by Rosanne Mulhern's design for the card and you will find her post HERE and by Sam Hammond (Pootles) for the gorgeous box she created HERE

We completed these two sets on Saturday - Blackberry Bliss and Watermelon Wonder cardstock and InColour Designer Series Paper Stacks were used as well as the Bordering Blooms and Garden in Bloom for the sentiment on the card and Starburst Sayings on the box.

I then had a play with Lost Lagoon and Mint Macaron and created two more sets of projects which came up really nicely too.....

I had so much fun making these projects and the ladies who came along enjoyed themselves too which makes it so much more enjoyable.  I am also running the class again on Wednesday for some more lovely ladies who were unable to join in on Saturday and I am very much looking forward to that as well!

Boxes Project Rethink!! Go Figure

I have had a bit of feedback on the projects I had lined up for the Boxes Christmas workshop this coming weekend and it confirmed what I sort of thought anyway...while the items were cute and delightful etc...they wer SMALL and IMPRACTICAL and Christmas gift wrapping!!!

So I have had another play around and come up with these instead:

We have a Gift Bag topper, a baggie made from a sheet of 12x12 paper, a Kraft Gift Box (p161 in the Annual Catalogue), another cute gift idea using the Season of Sweets Designer Kit (p15 in the Holiday Catalogue) and a couple of other goodies to fill up the big white gift bag!!  These packaging offerings would be lovely wrappings for a Teacher gift with chocolates in them, or for your children to take treats in to share with their classmates or as an Office treat for your co-workers.
So, if these projects are more your style the class details are as follows:

Again there are 3 dates listed so that people have options however the projects on offer at each class will be the same. The details are as follows:

           Friday 30th November 7 - 11pm
           Sunday 2nd December 1pm - 5pm

Christmas Boxes Class

 While I got myself organised with cardmaking, I also had a play with some cute little Christmas themed box ideas I have seem while surfing around Pinterest and Google images ( great fun I've had search for ideas too!). Here are the fruits of you surfings and caseings:

I seem to have left Christmas to the last minute this year...my husband is even threatening to BUY cards to post!!! So I got myself organised and have set the following dates for classes to make a set of 10 cards as shown:
