Stamp-a-Stack Class in July

On Saturday, 16th of July I will be holding a card 'Stamp-a-Stack' class at 7:30pm for anyone wanting to stock up on Birthday cards or in need of a night out! For just $20 you will create the following 10 cards:

We will be making a mixture of Male & Female birthday, Teenage boys birthday and even a Baby card or 2!  Go home with these cards plus matching envelopes; and enjoy a light supper (maybe a lolly or few) and great company. These cards are simple to create, so no experience is necessary. Places are limited to allow for assistance as needed, so RSVP early on delidoo@netspace.net.au to reserve your seat!

Cheaper Than Therapy Challenges - #1

My two fellow Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrator friends Rachael Raccani-Hewitt  and Maree Sammut  and I have decided to post a challenge each week to encourage us to experiment with new colour combinations and Stampin’ Up! ® products we may not have used yet! We will post a new challenge each week, and then put photos on our blogs a week later to show you what we came up with! We have decided to call it “Cheaper Than Therapy Challenge” because we believe our crafting keeps us sane by giving us time out from our hectic lives; and although our husbands might complain about us spending money on our love of craft, we firmly maintain “IT’S CHEAPER THAN THERAPY!”

This week's challenge is a colour AND stamp set challenge. We are using Stampin' Up! ®‘s colours: Daffodil Delight, Wild Wasabi, and Melon Mambo; paired up with the lovely new Level 1 Hostess Stamp Set 'A Slice of Life' (from the Autumn-Winter Mini Catalogue). Make sure you come back next week to see what Rach, Maree and I each come up with; and why not have a go at the challenge yourself!

Easter Gift Boxes

This Easter I bought these fabulous Noodle boxes and made the very cute Bunny to grace the front to give our family as gifts.  Each one was filled with yummy chocolates and biscuits we made over 2 or 3 days before Easter with my Mum....it was supposed to be the kids doing the making of the goodies but their attention span won so Mum and I had heaps of fun while they played!!

These cute little fellas were a tutorial from Kim Score in the US, she makes the most amazing creatures and characters from SU punches.

These are the ones made for family in Sydney, and of course we all had our own here at home....Nige even made one!!! Only one, but he can't say he hasn't done craft now, lol!!

Thanks for looking xoxo

Christmas Cuties

In 2010, as part of the Helping Hudson fundraiser for Tina Gillespie's son I bought the Christmas set of tutorials which included this gorgeous one for Santa and his helpers by Gretchen Barron.
These were great Teacher gifts for school and pre-school and my 3 all made a Reindeer each one Sunday afternoon and that was their place to stash lollies over the festive season.

Amazing what can come to life with cardstock, punches and ink hey!  These guys are packed away safely to reappear in December this year.  Thanks for looking, see you again soon xoxo

Haven't been here for a while.....

I guess things have been busy around here for some time....3 years possibly!! Anyway getting back into the swing of things slowly with a few cards from a while ago - there will be more to come, I promise.

Here are a couple of cards made using the Sweet Treat cups. I will have a play with the Heart shaped ones soon and see what I come up with.  Thanks for looking,
