Cheaper Than Therapy Challenge #25 Creation

Well, I am working blind this week so hopefully I am forgiven for being a bit late and not quite fulfilling the challenge. Unfortunately I can't remind myself of the challenge because it is all stored elsewhere at the moment!!

Here is my creation for the Palette we had, I used a Crumb Cake12x12  base, Well Worn DSP with BajaBreeze and So Saffron accents. I have used a couple of non-SU alphabet die sets for my title just for something different and fun:

Not quite finished....I need to put a little doo-dad in the top corner......I will get to it soon and post the outcome :) Have a great week all and stay tuned for our next challenge.....later!!

Cheaper Than Therapy Challenge #25

This week we are using another Palette and sketch from The Color Room......Here is the gorgeous Palette

Such warm, toasty colours...we need some warmth as our oh-so short Summer came back for a few days but has gone again now and it is chilly and a bit rainy...boo!!!

To me these colours are – Bashful Blue, Crumb Cake, So Saffron and Cajun Craze....what do they look like to you?

I can't wait to get started, there are a few ideas rattling around in my head....and a few more photos from my stash might just get some well deserved attention!!

Cheaper Than Therapy Challenge #24 Creation

For this challenge we were working off another wonderful Becky Fleck sketch and there was no other stipulation other than to......

"Use what papers/colours/bits & pieces made you happy and use up the stash a little bit.......so long as the sketch is in there somewhere!!"

Cheaper Than Therapy Challenge #24

This week we are using another sketch from the wonderful Becky Fleck....I think we are slightly addicted to her sketches as well as greatly inspired by them.

The only other stipulation of this challenge is:- 

Use what papers/colours/bits & pieces made you happy and use up the stash a little bit.......so  long as the sketch is in there somewhere!!

Cheaper Than Therapy Challenge #23 Creation

....was most definitely a challenge for this little duck!!! A reminder:

The colours did my head in and I couldn't choose which ones to use, which Stampin' Up! ones looked most like the challenge colours....arrrggghhh!!!

In the end I decided to go with 3 shades of pink - Melon Mambo, Regal Rose and Pretty in Pink - and be done with it. 

Given the pinkness of my chosen scheme I elected to honour Rachael's dedication to the Cancer Council's "Girl's Night In" event campaign and showcase the wonderful night we had in 2011.

It is an inspiration to me that as long as I have known her, my beautiful friend Rach has held a Girl's Night In event...and Josh and Max are now 8!!!

So here is my creation........

This week we are using another great sketch from the talented Color Room team......with a colour palette of Basic Black and shades of Pale Pink/Plum/Razzleberry or even Mambo....that could be part of the challenge....what shades of Pink or Purple do YOU see in this Palette???
